EMDR Intensives

What is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is an extended session — typically several hours — designed for those who want to move through trauma faster and more deeply than weekly therapy allows. Rather than spending months in weekly sessions building slowly toward processing, an intensive allows us to go further in a concentrated period of time. Intensives are ideal for those who are highly motivated, have already done some therapy work, or simply want to make significant progress without the stop-start rhythm of weekly sessions.

What is Ketamine-Assisted EMDR?

Ketamine-assisted EMDR combines the neuroplasticity effects of ketamine with targeted EMDR trauma processing. Ketamine temporarily creates a more flexible brain state, making it possible to process deeply held traumatic material that may otherwise feel inaccessible. I work with clients while they are in the ketamine experience, guiding the processing in real time. Ketamine is prescribed separately by a licensed prescriber — I provide the therapy component. This is available via telehealth in California and New Mexico.

Fees:

Intensives are billed at $145 per hour, including the preparation session, the intensive itself, and the follow-up session. Contact me to schedule a free consultation to discuss whether an intensive is right for you.
